This one is still a work in progress. Made from Solid antique/aged wood. The front is one of my ''wood burnings'', the deer scene has been burned into the wood with some very light stain/medium work done. A frame wrapped in leather is going to outline the picture(not done yet). The top has a built in hanging post to accomodate any wall mount, and is going to be finished off with a display of cactus and brush. I would also like to point out that Nothing stains out as beautifully as this aged wood(guesstimating to be around 75-100 years old)(these pictures don't do it any justice). Not just a pedestal, but a literal ''Work of Art'' to display your finest trophy. Be sure and check back for updates

Made from rustic cedar with the rough side out and finished with a natural cedar tone stain. The inserts are Real Leather that have undergone a special process giving it a very unique & antique look. Front & Center is a cast iron star adding that finishing touch. The combination of cedar and leather give this pedestal a rustic yet very rich appearance. ABOUT THE SIZES & CONSTRUCTION
My pedestals are a good 3 feet tall(averaging 36''-37''), At the very bottom they average being 25''-27'' square, the middle section averages between 17''-19'' square, and the tops average around 19''-21'' square. When compared to the average octagon shaped pedestals that come from taxidermy supply businesses, which are the most common ones you've seen, mine are noticably a good size bigger.
NOTE: This is just my standard size for whitetail deer and similiarly sized animals. Since I truly consider my work ''Custom'', any size and dimension can be built.

I start out building a 2''x2'' skeleton frame which is predrilled and screwed together. This frame allows for more creativeness in designs & fabrication, such as the wide & flared bases, a concept unique to my work. Then the pedestal is built using SOLID wood(3/4 stock), unlike a lot of the standard octagon pedestals on the market which are made from veneer(fancy plywood/''walmart furniture'').
